FINAL PART OF MY JOURNEY WRITTEN BY MY AMAZING DAD Kittoe Nayin Kwamena

🧠 Recognition and the Road Ahead

↪️ Awards are wonderful milestones but for Sarah my daughter, they are not the destination. They are the fuel for the journey ahead.

↪️ As we look toward the future, the accolades such as the Kiwanis United Kingdom Youth Impact Award, RoundTable Global Youth Awards "Empowering Change" Award, and the ROYaL Global Awards 2024 Special Recognition, serve as a testament to Sarah’s hard work. But the real work is just beginning.

↪️ Sarah Kittoe (now a BCyA medalist) and Mary are building the SM KITTOE Foundation to tackle systemic vulnerabilities head-on. From supporting homelessness through Centrepoint and West Croydon Methodist Church Wednesday Club in the UK, to empowering schools in Africa, their mission is clear. It is to ensure every child has the tools to lead.

↪️ As her father, my job is simply to keep holding the ladder while she climbs.

↪️ We are ready to take this mission to the global stage. We are seeking sponsors and media partners to help share Sarah and Mary’s story and support the Foundation’s upcoming projects. Let’s work together to empower the next generation of leaders.

PART 3
A REFLECTION OF MY JOURNEY WRITTEN BY MY AMAZING DAD Kittoe Nayin Kwamena

🧠 A Family Mission

↪️ What happens when you combine a visionary author with a creative force of nature?
You get Sarah and Mary. A sister duo on a mission to change the world.

↪️ There is a special kind of magic that happens when siblings unite for a cause. Sarah has always had her younger sister, Mary, as her biggest cheerleader. But Mary is more than a supporter, she is an award winning artist at a tender age of 6 years and a leader in her own right. Together, they realized that their impact would be far greater if they joined forces.

↪️ After Sarah has published her 5th book titled Linsey and The Blue Fox 2 The Way Back Home at age 13, she joined forces with her sister to create a board game to tackle the issue of deforestation and it's impact.

↪️ These powerful duo are the heart behind the SM KITTOE Foundation. Watching these two brainstorm how to "Educate, Empower, Grow, and Sustain" communities makes me incredibly proud. They are proof that leadership isn’t reserved for adults. To see Mary supporting Sarah’s vision while adding her own creative spark is exactly the legacy of kindness we hoped to foster.

↪️ The SM KITTOE Foundation is officially moving from a dream to a reality. We are seeking mentors, sponsors and advisors in the non-profit space to help these young founders build a sustainable foundation. Could you or your network help guide them?

🧠 Moving Beyond the Pages

↪️ Can a 13-year-old really tackle the digital divide across continents?

↪️ If you know Sarah, you know the answer is a resounding "Yes."

↪️ Success is often measured by what we gain, but for Sarah, it has always been about what she can give back.

↪️ April 2023, we traveled to my motherland, Ghana. While the trip inspired her fourth book, Ama and the Lost Key, Sarah saw a need at St. Paul's Methodist Basic School that a storybook alone wasn't enough especially when the school library wasn't inviting enough for the children to want to go there to read.

↪️ Using her book proceeds, family and friends support and her own determination, she didn't just donate, she transformed.

↪️ She refurbished their library and established a brand-new e-library with 25 fully equipped computers with interactive learning programmes which was developedwith the Ghanain curriculum.

↪️ Seeing her stand there as a young philanthropist was a defining moment. It is one thing to write about change but it is another to fly across the world to build it.

↪️ We are looking for corporate partners in the tech and education sectors to help scale Sarah's vision of digital literacy in underserved schools and communities globally.

↪️ If your organization is committed to global CSR, let’s start a conversation.

PART 1
They say it takes a village to raise a child, on December 19th 2025, I saw what happens when a community truly comes together to lift each other up.

I had the absolute honour of visiting the Mama Ntombi's Community Projects (MNCP). Walking through the settlement and meeting the children and the incredible 'Gogos' who lead with such strength left me deeply moved. The work MNCP does by providing education, meals, and hope in the face of extreme poverty is nothing short of heroic.

To support their journey, I was thrilled to donate copies of my books and my brand-new board game! 📚🎲 to encourage them in the face of adverse challenges. Hearing the stories reminded me exactly why I started the SM Kittoe Foundation.

Our goal is to educate, empower, grow, and sustain communities by working hand-in-hand with them. This is a mission that aligns perfectly with the heart of MNCP.
While the SM Kittoe Foundation is still in the process of full registration, my heart is already there. I am looking forward to a long-term partnership with MNCP, but in the meantime, I am committed to supporting their life-changing work however I can.
Let’s keep growing together.

I will be sharing PART 2 later in the week where we will hear the testimony of a young man Msizi who was helped by MNCP and now volunteers to help others.

Happy Birthday Daddy ❤️🥰

Christmas 2025, my heart was full as I return to the roots of my mum in South Africa. I spent the morning with some incredible young minds at the church that built my mum, Pisgah Church in Cliffdale KZN, sharing the stories that shaped me and donating copies of my books and board game to ensure every child sees themselves as the hero of their own story.

For too long, children from ethnic minority backgrounds have searched for their reflections in pages and found them missing. By putting diverse main characters into the hands of our children, we aren’t just giving them a book but we are giving them a mirror and a map to their own potential.
Supporting our most vulnerable and underrepresented communities isn't just a holiday gesture, it is the work of a lifetime.
To every young person reading this, your voice matters, your story is valid, and your dreams are necessary.
Believe in yourself and never think you are too young to change the world.

Thank you Pisgah Church for the amazing welcome and lovely South African snacks 😃😃
As we reflect on an incredible 2025, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

From receiving the British Citizen Youth Award (BCYA) , Being the first to receive the Kiwanis United Kingdom Youth Impact Award, to being named a RoundTable Global Youth Awards Global Youth Award Winner, every milestone has been a step toward a larger goal ensuring every child feels seen.

The year 2025, I was honored to launch my 5th book and first board game, Linsey and the Blue Fox 2 - The Way Back Home. For me, these aren’t just stories but they are tools to solve the under-representation of ethnic minority characters in literature and highlight the devastating issue of deforestationand it's impact. Seeing the joy in children's faces when they find a main character who looks like them is the greatest reward of all.

Beyond the awards, my most meaningful moments were spent by:

1. Supporting Charities: Partnering with organizations like the Centrepoint , West Croydon Methodist Church Wednesday Club, Nightwatch - Homeless Charity , Mama Ntombi's Community Projects etc to bring hope to vulnerable children.
2. Donating Books: Ensuring that quality, diverse literature reaches those who need it most.

3. Advocating for Change: Promoting representation issues at the Children’s Black Book Fair UK, being part of he Ultra Education Pop up Market. An amazing experience being one of the Unsung Magazine journalist .

To the next generation of dreamers need to know that their journey is just beginning.

Believe in yourself and never think you are too young to lead.

Thank you for being part of this story. Let’s make 2026 even more impactful!

SK Next Book in the Making - What an amazing Experience in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
Meeting family and friends, my highlight this weekend was being part of my cousins traditional 16th birthday celebrations called Umhlonyane ( coming of age ceremony). I made amazing new friends who taught me the songs and dance steps. Look at me London Girl doing the Zulu Dance.
