Thank you All for supporting my Christmas fundraising to help the vulnerable in our community.
We have received donations of non perishable food, clothing and £105 in money.

These will shared between the West Croydon Methodist Church Wednesday Club and Nightwatch - Homeless Charity both charities support the homeless and vulnerable in our local community Croydon.

This was an awesome opportunity to meet some amazing people and represent Black Literature with my fellow authors Lauryn Rose Teixeira, Jayce's World , Romeo Bremmer and Israel. We are so excited! Thank you so much Juliet Coley Bcae for this wonderful opportunity for us young Authors to Shine.

We raised funds for the wonderful charity the JAMAICA BASIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION (UK). @jbsf_uk through the sales of our books.

Sarah Kittoe was officially Honoured with the British Citizen Youth Award (BCyA) as a testament to her amazing work as a Young Author and Philanthropist.

Prepare to be inspired. At an age when most people are just discovering their favourite books, Sarah Kittoe BCyA, is busy writing them and changing the world in the process.

This isn't a story of overnight success but a testament to sustained passion and profound purpose. Sarah started her literary journey at the remarkable age of seven, pouring her imagination onto the page. By the time she was just ten, she had already published her first three books.

Now, at only 13 years old, Sarah is a published author of five books, each carrying a message that resonates deeply in today’s society.

More Than Just Stories, she has a mission

Sarah's writing is driven by a powerful vision to address the problem of poor representation in the minds of young readers whilst raising funds to support the vulnerable in society. This commitment to inclusivity and empowerment is the heart beat of her work.

Her activism doesn't end with the last chapter. Sarah is a powerful advocate for vulnerable in society. She is actively using the proceeds from her literary success to tackle the timeless and critical issue of homelessness and vulnerabilities in society. Her books aren't just entertainment but they are fundraising tools for tangible social good.

This week I was invited to Centrepoint Head Office to learn more of how the donations they receive is helping young people and also share how I raise funds to support the Charity.

Here is a little about Centrepoint and what they do.
The charity, Centrepoint, provides housing, support, and training for young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The charity
What it is: Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity.
Who it helps: It supports young people aged 16–25 across the UK who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
What it does: The organization provides secure housing, expert support, training and employment opportunities, and financial and legal advice.
Its goal: The charity's mission is to end youth homelessness by 2037.

I am proud to be part of the people helping to make a difference in our society. I not only donate to Centrepoint but also my local community West Croydon Methodist Church Wednesday Club ,where we open the doors for the vulnerable in our community and share,food,clothes, essentials needs and toiletries to the people who needs help . Every little helps You can donate non perishable food, clothing, toiletries or funds.

We had an amazing evening this weekend at the Trulittle Hero Awards . It was great to see the Amazing work that our young people are doing. I felt honoured to be amoung such great talents and being one of the finalists.
