Happy New Year 🎉🎉

SK Fundraising Highlights 2024 - This year its has been a great pleasure to help transform other people's lives through my philanthropic work. Highlight of this years fundraising and charity work.
The year started with my Ama and the Lost Key Book Launch in April which raised £800 this was donated to the 2 charities that my books support through the sales of my books , West Croydon Methodist Church Wednesday Club and Centrepoint .
In May we officially commissioned the Library at St Paul Methodist Basic School Tema which we have been raising funds for to create a welcoming space for the children to enjoy learning and reading. Throughout the year I have attended Book Events such as Black British Book Festival , Black Authors on the Rise: A Celebration of Black Authors , Ultra Education Youth Business Fair and more and funds raised were donated to the charities.
I ended the year by raising over £800 on GoFundMe to making 100 Homeless Essential Packs for Christmas. The packs were handed over to Nightwatch - Homeless Charity Croydon.

It's Christmas Eve

Nightwatch Croydon - Merry Christmas Everyone.

This evening I met Richard one of the volunteers at Nightwatch - Homeless Charity Croydon, it was lovely talking to Richard about the charity and the work they do every evening. I helped with the soup and preparing the sandwiches to hand out this evening.

Thank you Everyone for your continuous love and support. The Homeless Essential Packs were handed out this evening by the volunteers at Nightwatch along with the hot soup, sandwiches 🥪 , hot chocolate and Christmas snacks.

Nightwatch Croydon

It is Christmas Eve, What are you and your family doing.
This Evening I am at Nightwatch - Homeless Charity Croydon. This amazing charity ran by volunteers who come out every night to support the vulnerable in our community, by giving out warm food, sandwiches, hot drinks etc.
This evening along with the Food they will be handing out the Homeless Essential Packs that we have donated.

Unfortunately I am under age to go out on the streets with the volunteers but I am happy to help donate and prepare the packs and sandwiches.

Let us remember those who are struggling in our community, not just at Christmas but all year round. You can donate food, clothes , money, your time come and volunteer etc.

This is video of my very First Homeless Essential Packs I made when I was 5years old. It all started in our living room with the help and teaching of my parents. Christmas is not just about receiving. Now 12 years old and I have not stopped supporting the homeless and vulnerable in my community. This year I am aiming to make at least 100 packs with hygiene essentials, warm clothes and food.

Fundraising for Homeless Essential Packs - A Big Thank you to Shewonzy Nana Bilson who donated £150 towards my fundraising for the Homeless Essential Packs , she got herself this lovely SK gift Hamper. Thank You for your support.

This December I am Fundraising towards getting 100 Homeless Essential Packs.

For the homeless, hygiene and staying warm is a complicated issue. When you have no roof over your head, let alone access to warm running water, those hygiene practices can be a challenge. This not only poses a risk to physical wellbeing, but can also affect mental health, lowering self-confidence and leaving individuals feeling left behind by society.

Sk is Fundraising to provide Homeless Essential packs. For homeless people these can make all the difference. These include personal hygiene items, allowing them to self-groom and feel refreshed each day, warm clothing and food.They may only be temporary solutions, but they can be vital for homeless people in the short-term.

You can also help make a difference to homeless people by supporting Sarah Kittoes Fundraising.
While hygiene packs for homeless people can provide short-term relief, it’s also crucial to work towards more long-term solutions. Through the sales of my books SK continues to support Homelessness by donating to and supporting Centrepoint and West Croydon Methodist Church Wednesday Club where they help support homelessness and vulnerable people in our community.
